Ability to handle extended hours of standing and massaging
Excellent time management skills

Duties and Responsibilities:
•Assess clients' soft tissue condition, joint quality and function, muscle strength, and range of motion
•Confer with clients about their medical histories and any problems with stress and/or pain in order to determine whether massage would be helpful
•Develop and propose client treatment plans that specify which types of massage are to be used
•Consult with other health care professionals such as physiotherapists, chiropractors, physicians and psychologists in order to develop treatment plans for clients
•Maintain treatment records
•Provide clients with guidance and information about techniques for postural improvement, and stretching, strengthening, relaxation and rehabilitative exercises
•Refer clients to other types of therapists when necessary
Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Massage Therapist.
Compensation and benefits:
Percentage base with open work week or $35 per hour with 30 hours per week to start, which is discussed in the interview. The clinic will provide annual educational allowance, full amenities, sales & marketing team, and front staff.

Massager with morning housekeeping duties wanted for December to March ski season. We need a cheerful, happy person to live at our lodge, for at least 1 week every 3 weeks or a 2 in/ 2 out schedule. Work as a housekeeper in the morning, afternoons may be spent outdoors on snowshoes, touring skis and sometimes cat skiing with the guests. Guests are massaged from 4:30pm to 10 or 11pm on 5 days per week. Massage pays $60/hour and housekeeping pays $15/hour plus tips are from $35 – 60 per day worked . Meals and accommodation are provided. Guests are 80% males from 35 – 65 years old. Injury recovery through massage and stretching expertise would be a definite asset. Skiing or boarding with the guests is valued at $250/half day, (staff doesn’t pay anything) so this is a fantastic job for a snow enthusiast. If you don’t ski, then afternoons can be spent touring or snowshoeing.
